Each month, HERTHA gives a report to Elk Rapids Township on hall refurbishment plans, events and issues. Here is the December report. 
 Elk Rapids Players have just finished a very successful run of the musical South Pacific. Congratulations to all!!

South Pacific November 10-13, 17-20 Nurse Nellie Forbush of the U.S. Navy falls for middle-aged French plantation owner Emile De Becque, but recoils upon discovering that he's fathered two mixed-race children. When Nellie leaves him, the heartbroken Emile agrees to take on a dangerous espionage mission. In his absence, Nellie struggles to reconcile her prejudices with her love for him -- and after she spends time with his children and comes to care for them, fears that Emile may not return alive. Pete wants to rent our historic hall, but he's checking to see if his dragon fits through the door. Why not rent it, too, with or without a dragon?
